Responsibilities:
Lead projects to create and develop novel nucleic acid analysis technologies and diagnostic tests for cancer by analysis of plasma (liquid biopsy)
Plan feasibility testing, protocol development, optimization, verification, validation, and launch
Document research progress under a Quality Management System
Communicate progress directly with colleagues and senior management
Build and managing a small team of Research Associates and scientists
Design and coordinating the analysis of effective experiments and work with statistics and bioinformatics team
Perform basic data analysis (R, JMP, Excel)
Interact with on-site CLIA lab, Sequencing and process development group
