Sr Quality Engineer

Education and/or Experience:

* BS degree in a scientific discipline with 4-6 years related medical device experience or MS degree in a scientific discipline with 2-4 years related experience. ASQ (CQE, CRE, CQA, etc.) certifications desired.
* Must be able to interpret and apply Quality Systems Regulations and ISO quality requirements and stay abreast of new industry standards and concepts.
* Must have strong leadership skill and exercise independent judgment.
* Must have strong problem solving skills and be detailed oriented and organized.
* Must demonstrate initiative, balanced assertiveness, flexibility, team orientation and the ability to influence people
* Must have strong writing, communication and presentation skills. Computer skills required (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Statistics application).
* Familiar with ERP system, i.e. Oracle, SAP etc.
* Must have proven experience with FDA audits or regulated body audits such as ISO, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma strongly preferred.
