Sr Manager for Evaluation and Research

The American Society for Radiation Oncology, ASTRO, is looking for an individual with a scientific background experienced in research and evaluation methods and tools to provide strategic direction, planning and evaluation support for all of ASTRO's programs and services. This individual will serve as the liaison to the Science Council of our Board of Directors and provide oversight and support for related committee activities. Major responsibilities include planning and overseeing all research design, data collection, management and analysis for ASTRO programs and services; interpreting analyses and findings and making data-driven recommendations that yield effective delivery of programs and services; staffing the Science Council, including regular reporting, assistance with priority and special projects, and supervising and providing strategic direction to staff within the Research & Evaluation department who support committee activities and participate in conducting research projects.
