Sr Java Developer - Java / Flex

I'm currently working with a top investment bank in NYC. They're currently looking for a full time employee to join their growing desk. They're looking for a hands-on Flex developer to work on Global Risk Projects. The person will be part of a global team of developers working on the Risk Data Platform. The role entails delivering to market and credit risk requirements.

Skills & Experience Required:
* Strong Adobe Flex development experience with Java.
* 5-6 years IT experience of which the last 3+ years with Adobe Flex.
* 2+ years experience work experience in the Financial Services domain.
* Strong experience with Java
* Database skills - preferably with SQL Server and Oracle.
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). Must work well with a multidiscipline team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer to work with a truly global team getting exposure to all aspects of risk management. The candidate needs to be comfortable working with challenging regulatory deadlines and must be a self starter.
