SQL Server DBA required in Oxfordshire

My client based in Oxfordshire is seeking an SQL Server DBA. This is a contract to permanent position.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- To maintain the company's business management tools operating on SQL Server databases. Tools include financial reporting, project management of contracts, purchasing and CRM
- To develop and maintain SQL Server reporting Services reports associated with the business management tools
- To liaise with user departments (including overseas users) to ensure that business management tools meet the company's needs.
- To participate in initiatives designed to standardise business management tools across the Division.

Qualifications required:

BSc (Computing) degree or similar preferred but not essential.

Skills / experience required to do the job:

Experience with SQL Server DBA, SSRS.

Desirable:
Web development experience with ASP net Visual Studio and VB Net.
Familiarity with Microsoft CRM, Sharepoint and other business Microsoft management tools

Role specific competencies required:

A diligent and methodical approach to database management and associated tasks, a working knowledge of business logic, good communications skills; a cooperative attitude with colleagues.
