SQL Server DBA/Oracle RAC, RMAN, Dataguard - Paris

Next Ventures are currently hiring for an French speaking SQL Server DBA with experience with Oracle RAC, RMAN and Dataguard for a 2 year project based in Paris.

Duration - 6 month extendable up to 2 years
Location - Paris, France
Rate - Negotiable
Language - French

Requirements:
- 6-8 years of experience in SQL Server databases.
- 2-6 years experience in Oracle databases.
- Knowledge specific to Oracle RAC, RMAN and Dataguard

You will be responsible for:
- Database Administrator
- Participation in Support Package Databases Oracle and MS SQL Server computer system PRODUCTION.
- Using ITIL processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management.
- SLA compliance
- Implementation of solutions for better pro-active incident
- Monitoring bases (KP growth volumetrics, damage thresholds of critical parameters, etc..)
- Migration, recurrent reorganization bases (analysis, preparation of plans reorg, setting production plans)
- Working closely with EFO (understanding the functioning of applications) in the behavioral analysis of Databases (Query Tuning consumers, creation of indexes, partitioning, etc..)
- Netapp snapshot backup
- Performance Audits
- Participation in the planning of penalties (1 week every month or every 2 months)
- Participation in development projects SI
- Participation in project meetings
- Proofreading project documents
- Preparation of detailed CR, proofreading and reporting forms very extensive
- Communication major with project managers (project progress reports, ski alerts, etc..)
- Participation in MEP
