SQL Server Database Administrator Job

SQL SERVER DBA needed for a CONTRACT TO DIRECT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- SQL Server
- TSL-SQL
- SSIS

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Perform MS SQL Server installations and configuration of Instances, databases, clients, etc.
- Design, implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies on Database Management Systems.
- Design, Install, configure and maintain High Availability (like Mirroring, Log Shipping, Clustering, Replication, etc.) MS SQL Server solutions.
- Design and Maintain access and security administration.
- Install, configure and maintain MSSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Reporting Services (SSRS).

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) plus years of SQL Server DBA experience with two years of experience with SSRS and SSIS.
- Strong Knowledge in MS SQL Server architecture and its implementation.
- Strong Knowledge in instance, database and query tuning to improve the performance of the database/application.
- Strong Knowledge in T-SQL Programming Language.
- Strong understanding of best practices in maintaining medium to large scale MS SQL database systems.
