SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)

Database Administrator with experience in maintaining and engineering SQL Server environments is required for a leading Financial Services firm based inBoston. The role will require the successful applicant to maintain enterprise SQL Server 2005/ 2008 R2 environments with a focus on production tasks such as stored procedures as well administering a Disaster Recovery set up so skills in Clustering or Log-shipping is ideal. The position also involves performance tuning the database servers as well as some project related work which may involve using tools such as SSIS. The environment consists of 1000+ servers and the company has locations in Europe, Asia and Australia, adopting a follow the sun support model which makes for a good on call system.
