SQL Server Adminsitrator

We are looking for a SQL server administrator for one of our clients.

POSITION SUMMARY:

- Associates should have experienced in installation & configuration of SQL Servers
- Building of database Servers for production and Development environments
- The job would include managing various SQL database,create report, status,Minutes of meetings, follow up with various vendors and customer on pending activities, schedule meetings with the customer and internal teams
- Experienced in Security management and performance tuning
- Able to do log shipping, Database mirroring, Clustering and T-SQL Scripting
- Evaluate and recommend changes and upgrades to SQL environment
- Able to do Backup/restore and Replication
- Understanding of SSRS/SSAS &SSIS

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Should have experience as Database administrator in infrastructure services
- Should have an ability to work with heterogeneous environments
- Should be good in English and French languages (Spoken, written and read)
- Official working language will be English/French

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as storage administrator for large IT service provider (Total experience can be 3+ years)
- knowledge of SQL Oracle Database
- Scheduling meetings, publishing Minutes of Meetings and prepare documentation as per requirements
- Ability to understand and clearly relate to other members of the organization, technical manuals,software specifications,hardware principals of operations and general methods of systems software operations
