SQL DEVELOPER WITH COLDFUSION
On behalf of our client, a leading global company, we are looking for a SENIOR SQL DEVELOPER WITH STRONG COLDFUSION KNOWLEDGE. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analysis, design, implementation and unit testing of Database components.
- Participate in migration of SQL 2012 to 2014
- Refactoring of existing functionality and re-design of application components
- Migrating existing application components to the new service layer
- Active participation on code reviews and other quality assurance actions.
- Enhance current solution and getting involved in maintaining the product
SKILLS:
- Expert in Database Development
- Over 5 years of experience with Transact SQL for SQL Server 2012
- Strong Experience in Database Tuning
- Good experience with Coldfusion 9
- Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux
- Proven experience on large projects, large systems, with large throughput, high performance databases with very large volumes of transactions on a daily basis.
- Experience of best-practices in a Database development environment
- Proven strong knowledge of Software design principles and design patterns
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English).
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
- A self-starter, being able to take ownership of tasks at short-notice, and push them to delivery.
- Master/Bachelor in Information Technology or Engineering or similar is required
