SQL Developer, VBA Developer

SQL Developer, SQL Programmer, VBA Developer, VBA Programmer, SSIS, SSRS, VBA, Access, Excel

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a major Government department for an experienced SQL Developer with the following skills:

-Advanced VBA using Access/Excel
-SQL 2008 r2, including SSIS, SSRS and BIDS
-Microsoft Web Development including JavaScript, Bootstrap JQuery.

Desirable Experience:
-2 years + experience in financial reporting/banking environment

Duties will include:

-SQL Application development in a workforce and financial reporting environment.
-Requirements gathering and application development of new solution and also reverse engineering of Legacy (Access, VBA) solutions.
-Working as part of a development team made up of other similarly skilled developers and a specialist accountant.
-Expedience of financial reporting would be an advantage.

Preferred location in Darlington with a secondary option of Sheffield with travel to Darlington as required.
