SQL Developer

Resource 1 is in need of a SQL Developer for a contract position in Santa Ana, CA.

The initial contract is 1 year with expected extensions. Selected individual will be primarily responsible for processing large amounts of data and complex logic in SQL queries and stored procedures, as well as, creating solutions by analysing, designing, developing, implementing, testing and maintaining enterprise applications.

Responsibilities will include developing and supporting SSIS packages, queries, and stored procedures, producing quality code, and identifying and solving problems. The ideal candidate should have 5+ year of experience in application software development and 4+ years of development experience in advanced SQL and SSIS, working with SQL Server 2005 or above. Experience with VBScript and XML is a plus. The selected candidate should have working experience in OLTP application and database performance optimization techniques, as well as, data modelling and database design. Individual will work in a team environment and participate in code reviews and brainstorming activities.
