ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful developer will work as part of a team committed to the development, implementation and support of SQL Server to meet business requirements. They will work closely within a successful and innovative team, using the latest technologies to understand and participate in business and functional requirements. There will be an element of designing, testing and assisting fellow team members in delivery. SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

- Experience in documenting functional and design specifications for SQL development
- Minimum 5 years experience in SQL development (Microsoft 2008 R2, SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS) and SharePoint 2010 is highly preferred
- Extensive experience in logical and physical relational database analysis, design and engineering including traditional Entity-Relationship Modelling.
- Experience with SQL and other standard database query tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server
- Extensive data warehouse architecture knowledge including star schema, ODS, extract methodologies.
- Development experience through the analysis/design phase of SDLC
- Good written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to lead, negotiate and influence
- Good time management and ability to deliver to deadlines
