SQL Database Administrator

T4S Solutions are looking for a Dutch speaking SQL Database Administrator to work in Brussels on a 3 month extendable contract.

YOUR CHALLENGE:
As an ICT System Specialist you are part of the 'Infrastructure Team' and you, together with your colleagues, assist you in the installation, configuration and operational management of the various business critical MS SQL database environments. In addition, we have also included extensive Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB and ElasticSearch database environments and knowledge or experience in one of these environments. Some of the many challenges that come true to you:
How do you make the difference? Here we can be short, you do this on several levels. Technically, you build on correct installations, support, monitoring and upgrades of new database environments.
Operational management, project work, support to the application managers, etc. It is only a small grip from your day-to-day work.
You create and maintain the necessary procedures and documentation and provide the necessary knowledge transfer to your colleagues.

YOUR STRONG POINTS:
Must have knowledge: MS SQL and experience as database administrator. Good knowledge of Scripting (Unix Shell, VBScript) helps you in managing the environments.
Nice to have knowledge: Oracle, and also MySQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch.
Experience within a large ICT environment is a plus.
