SQL DBA WITH PERFORMANCE TUNING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A COMPLEX HIGH AVAILABILITY ENVIRONMENT USING THE AGILE-WAY-OF-WORKING.

Work experience and skill requirements:

- 5 years experience working in a large IT environment
- Foundational Skills teamwork, communication, adherence to company standards and procedures
- Demonstrated experience using SQL in performing the following tasks:
- Evaluate the Database Server Hardware
- Install the SQL Software
- Plan the Database
- Implement the Database Design
- Perform Database Provisioning and Configuration
- Use Data Modeling Techniques
- Perform Exception and Error Handling
- Back Up the Database
- Enroll System Users
- Tune Database Performance and Optimization
- Database Security
- Ensure High Availability
- Handover in operational readiness state

EXPERIENCE WITHIN A HIGH AVAILABILITY ENVIRONMENT - WITH ALWAYS ON CLUSTERING - IS A MUST!

Education requirements:

- High school diploma HAVO/A-Level Equivalent
- Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (SQL Server 2012 or higher)
- Good understanding of Agile Scrum/Kanban
- Business Level English with Dutch as an additional language preferred
