SQL Data Architect

SQL DATA ARCHITECT/LONDON-£500pd-£550pdTHE COMPANYA financial institute based in Central London are looking for mid-level to senior SQL Data Architects to join their cutting edge organisation. THE ROLE In the role you will be part of small dynamic cross-functional teams, designing and developing back-end data architectures for data science, data analytics and visualisation applications for numerous exciting greenfield projects. This role will suit an experienced database developer with a passion for data architectures and different database platforms, including SQL, NoSql, and Big Data as well as a keen interest in developing your career in Big Data and Data Science. You will also gain exposure to technologies such as Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Shark, Python and R. YOUR EXPERIENCEEssential

* Strong experience in database and development experience
* Excellent SQL Server skills
* Ability to organise and leverage large and complex data sets
* Exposure to C# and software design patterns and best practices including SOLID, TDD, etc.
Desirable

* Experience in Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
* A background in Data Warehousing or Business Intelligence tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
* Analytics languages - Matlab, R, Python
