SQL Application DBA - Central London - £45'000

A world renowned organisation based inCentral Londonare looking for a SQL Server DBA with Application Support experience to take the role of Lead DBA in their Application Support and Database Team. The successful SQL DBA will be responsible for the day to day administration of my clients databases, including health checking, monitoring, performance tuning, back ups and recovery. Providing 3rd line application support to business users, and taking responsibility for the development and upgrade of the business applications will also be responsibilities of this role. The successful SQL DBA will have the following skills: * 5+ years working with SQL Server 2005 / 2008 * Oracle 9i/10g (desirable) * Experience with Microsoft BI / Cognos * Good client facing skills * Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills My client can offer the successful SQL Server DBA the opportunity to join an expanding and developing organisation working on a global scale.
