SQL Analyst/Developer - SSIS SSRS ASP.NET

A Dublin based Multinational requires an SQL Developer with strong SSIS, SSRS and ASP.NET skills for a long term contract. The role reports to the IT manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the companies Microsoft based MIS operates in a smooth and consistent manner in line with the businesses evolving requirements.

Overview of responsibilities
Second-line application support and vendor liaison
SQL report development and maintenance
ASP.NET development and maintenance

Abilities
Able to work in a small IT team and take ownership of workload and duties
Able to listen to and understand business requirements in order to deliver superior technical solutions first time, every time.
Development skills on SQL Server 2008/2012 to create and maintain stored procedures, views, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS and working with ASP.NET applications. ASP.NET 2.0 development on .NET 3.0 or greater

Experience
Experience of MIS implementation and support
Knowledge of or exposure to accounting principles
Strong communication, documentation and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrable experience with pro-actively managing work and addressing and prioritising demands
Experience in mining or energy industry useful but not essential
Experience in maritime shipping industry useful but not essential
More than 3 years of experience in a similar role

Education
Degree educated or experience led equivalent
Recognised technical qualification (eg Microsoft certification)
Experience in application development or application maintenance and support
