IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Design & building of new features: refinement of business requirements, assistance with release planning activities, visualization of architecture aspects
-Responsibility for the design of the data integration part of the solution: documentation and visualization of the data integration designs as well as interface specifications
-Responsibility for hardware sizing to cover possible extension of the infrastructure
-Coverage of all security policies in terms of Access Management, Data Protection etc. and inclusion in the architecture
-Work with users and other stakeholders to implement new features
-Guidance of the configuration of the Enterprise Security App to reflect use cases
-Building of solutions in the DEV environment (e.g. data onboardings, apps and add-ons, configurations etc.)
-Support of the Quality Manager by testing the solution, by generating suitable test data etc.
-Running the system: troubleshooting, issue fixing efforts, liaison with other support groups (e.g. UNIX admins)
-Preparation of the deployment of new features
-Improvement of the system and its monitoring and configuration automation capabilities

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Proven experience with large scale Splunk projects including Splunk clusters, distributed Splunk environments etc. at Terabyte/Petabyte scale (Splunk Certified Administrator/Splunk Certified Architect)
-Proven experience with the implementation of use cases in Splunk
-Proven experience with the use and configuration of the Splunk Enterprise Security App to cover security related use cases
-Solid experience with typical Enterprise policies, especially concerning infrastructure, access management, data protection etc.
-Versed in Security Information Management & Operational Intelligence
-Solid and proven experience with Network Security concepts
-Excellent communication skills in English (German skills are a plus)
-Proven ability to visually illustrate complex processes and IT systems in a comprehensive manner (e.g. Visio)
-Experience with performance critical data processing at large scale using files, data streams, or databases
-A background in Enterprise IT Architecture and Solution Design or IT Security is of advantage
-Experience with testing IT systems and Data Integration systems
-Experience with working in internationally distributed cross-functional teams
