Splunk Consultant/Expert

Splunk Consultant - 12 month contract - Oslo, Norway - English speaking

Our client, a global top tier organization urgently requires a Splunk Consultant/Architect for a 12 month project with the possibility of a further 12 months extension based in Oslo, Norway.

Role:

- Splunk admin
- Log onboarding, field extractions and CIM normalisation (ie AWS, Azure and O365 Cloud App Security log sourcetypes)
- Installation of apps and technology add-ons
- Splunk health operational management
- Liaise with Splunk Support and Splunk professional service
- Create and improve SPLUNK Enterprise Security dashboards, knowledge objects, noteabe alerts and reports
- Splunk development
- Use-case development and tuning
- Dashboard and report creation
- Knowledge transfer to NBIM

Requirements:

- Minimum three years of experience working with Splunk
- Certified Splunk Enterprise Engineers are preferred
- Certified Splunk Enterprise Security are preferred
- Experience with managing Splunk infrastructure, ie universal forwarders, heavy forwarders, Technology AddOns, APPs like Enterprise Security, CIM of logsources to SPLUNK CIM satndards etc.
- Excellent communications skills in English
- Structured and organized with the ability to take independent responsibilities
