Splunk Administrator

Splunk Administrator required by leading financial services company to provide implementation, configuration and administration expertise of Splunk on a major PCI Programme.

Skills - MUST have proven experience of Splunk Deployment Server; Splunk administration through UI including app, report and dashboard permissions, users and roles, deployment server, managing alerts, summary searches and report accelerations; Splunk development of critical data-related configuration files like props., inputs., transforms., and indexes.configuration.
Splunk development of dashboards, reports and alerts.
Proven Scripting experience for automation and troubleshooting including Regular Expressions, Python, Javascript, XML, Perl, Shell, etc.
Ideally experience of SQL as well.

Contract likely to extend beyond initial 80 day (4 month) assignment.
