My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, is looking to recruit a Specialist Engineer to join their Powertrain division on a long-term contract basis.

Position Description:
The contract is to work on a project to establish the feasibility of a sensorless after treatment system (or to propose a heavily thrifted system within control system, legislative and safety constraints). The project engineer will develop an exhaust system thermal model and through exercising this model establish the minimum sensor count in after treatment system.
The set of requirements will be developed and tracked through a requirements database.
An additional requirement is to monitor the current development exhaust system sensor tracking sheet.

Skills Required:
Systems engineering, modelling (using MATLAB/SIMULINK), an appreciation of safety concepts.

Skills Preferred:
Requirements capture, tools appreciation and use.

Experience Required:
Post graduate experience within an industrial environment using modelling and simulation tools.
