Electrical power generation client is currently seeking 2 QA Program Supporters for Nuclear Oversight QA Program Support Upgrade and process NOS Procedures for all types of QA Support including evaluating staff Training Qualifications of Auditors, Assessors, and Vendor Quality in Charlotte, NC. These are 8 month CONTRACT positions, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assemble NOS departmental procedures and staff QA / QC qualifications to merge client's East and West programs
- Apply QA technical knowledge to procedure development
- Incorporate and comply with the requirements of applicable NSDs (Nuclear Standard Directives), ETQS (Employee Training and Qualification System Standard), INOP, NGGC (Nuclear Generating Group), and the requirements of QATP and UFSAR Chapter 17
- Proofread documents, schedule QR reviews, if required, with various NOS organizations including Audits and Assessments using specific guide requirements
- Effectively use LMS database to review staff QA / QC qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

- High School education or equivalent. 2 year technical degree (or greater) desired
- 5+ years training / hands-on experience in the Nuclear field
- 4+ years experience at a nuclear operating site
- At least 1 year of procedure writing experience. 2 years experience as a Nuclear procedure writer within the past 7 years desired
- Have obtained basic nuclear station training
