Specialist

Electrical power generation client is currently seeking an Emergency Planning Specialist in Seneca, SC to work with the Oconee Nuclear Station (ONS) Emergency Planning (EP) to provide contract EP support to the ONS Fukushima project. This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Demonstrate familiarity with NRC, INPO, NEI, and other Nuclear Industry regulations and guidelines such as NUREG 654, the FEMA REP manual, INPO EP guidance documents, NEI EP documents, and 10CFR 50 sections for Emergency Planning

REQUIREMENTS

- Nuclear industry EP specialist with a minimum of 10 years of EP experience
- Previously qualified to perform 10CFR 50.54(q) evaluations and become qualified to client's 10CFR50.54(q) program
- Knowledge of the NRCs Near Term Task Force recommendations from the Fukushima Accident and proposed nuclear industry actions to address these would be beneficial
