We are currently recruiting a Special Projects Analyst graduate to model and evaluate information gathered from multiple sources within the business. The candidate should have a strong grounding in business analytics and commercial modelling, and work confidently as part of a multi-disciplined team. Ideally the candidate will have an understanding of the property and asset management market.

Reporting into the Special Projects Operations Manager, the Analyst will bring strong analytical and modelling skills to support the following across a nationwide portforlio of contracts:

- Due diligence, transition management, commercial management and risk management
- Development & management of appropriate Management Information
- Management of all audit processes and schedules incl Serco Management System compliance
- Cost benchmarking analysis
- Business planning process support and coordination

The Analyst will work across multiple projects throughout the business operation, building and communicating detailed management information to enable accurate decision making and business improvement.

A challenging post requiring the ability to research, analyse and build strong arguments and business cases for operational change.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated graduate who has excellent problem solving skills, strong commercial focus and a high attention to detail.

Job Overview

Working in a growing professional services team with the core duties of:

Technical delivery

- Capturing and documenting requirements within the area of operation
- Assisting special projects in operations, finance and commercial
- Analysing spend , processes and practices to deliver efficiencies
- Applying technical expertise to design and map processes
- Design and specify potential solutions to business problems

Suitable qualification

Essential:

Educated to degree level in Business Management/Economics/Finance or similar

Desirable:

- Programme and project management skills
- A good understanding of outsourcing, consulting and business to business organisations and their practical application in the working environment
- Strong customer service ethos with evidence of the ability to deliver high quality service and developing relationships
- Strong leadership skills, with evidence of the ability to engage and motivate people at all levels
- Ability to solve problems
- Self motivation and ability to manage time and priorities well
- Ability to communicate to all levels
- PC literacy, use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and MS Project
- Full clean UK driving licence
