CAPITA REQUIRE A SOURCING SPECIALIST WHO WILL BE BASED IN OUR MAIDENHEAD OFFICE, WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR VOLUME RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE MEDICAL/HEALTH SECTOR WHO WILL BE FOCUSED ON SCREENING CANDIDATES IN THE PRE-SELECTION PROCESS FOR A GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT.

MANDATORY SKILLS

- At least 3 years in direct sourcing.recruitment ideall within the medical/health sector
- Candidate selection & qualifications
- Checking credentials of medical & healthcare professionals eg NMC and GMC
- Client interaction

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This Sourcing Specialist may have an agency background and will be able to utilise all the recruiting and assessment tools available in order to pro-actively identify, screen and assess talented candidates based on varying criteria. The person will have to interface with resourcing co-ordinators, senior recruiters, HR and client hiring managers on both current openings as well as more long-range issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and driving the hiring recruitment process.

This position requires a strong ability to assess candidates and applicants must have the skill set to conduct searches using various resources so excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

- Previous experience in recruiting Medical/Nursing professional and managerial level candidates ideally acquired in medical/healthcare environment
- Strong customer service skills for internal and external clients are required
- Conducting phone interviews, making contact with potential candidates, including interview calendar scheduling
- Strong database search skills for generating candidates in open vacancies and skills pipelines.
- Ability to deal with confidential information in an appropriate professional manner
- Proven adaptable passive candidate engagement methods particularly using LinkedIn
- Strong teamwork in virtual space where any and all duties can be shared remotely
- Proactive and comfortable in a busy dynamic recruitment/agency envirnment
- Excellent problem solving skills are necessary
- Able to write job adverts and extract headline skills from client recruitment requirements
- Strong knowledge of the use of the Internet as a research and recruiting tool, as well as all Microsoft Office Applications
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
