Sourcing Specialist (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Managing the sourcing of materials and vendors to support requirements consistent with quality, reliability, service, cost and delivery.
- Evaluating suppliers, creating and maintaining contracts, negotiating pricing, and building strong vendor relationships in support of managed categories.
- Manage and support Sourcing led projects and strategic objectives, as well as support externally led projects where required.
- Collaborating with Category Leads to review new/open projects and maintain fluid communication flow regarding project specifications, costs, timelines, and expectations.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Completed apprenticeship / Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, supply management, or related field preferred
- Supply management experience
- Purchasing Management Certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience in successfully negotiating supply agreements
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, make recommendations, and draw valid conclusions in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong communication skills in German & English, oral and written
- Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously
- Strong computer skills with ability to work in diverse applications
