Sourcing Specialist Job

SOURCING SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in STAMFORD, CT.

- IT Sourcing experience
- Financial Services industry experience
- Sourcing risk management experience
- Ability to quickly understand and utilize new systems (eg Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Contracts, Metricstream)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Ensure sourcing process integrity and compliance with policies & procedures.
- Provide timely/accurate and effective support for IT sourced activities.
- Source hardware, software & required professional services.
- Ensure properly elaborated and attended to RFI, RFQ, RFP, Contract (Master Agreements, SoWs), A/P, Vendor Quality, Issue resolution.
- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure Sourcing agreements define and meet the needs of the business.
- Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, leverage/utilize Competitive Buying Channel Matrix & sourcing process to select most appropriate vendor(s)
- Develop SoWs that are, as appropriate, in line with respective MSA and include elaborated business requirements, appropriate/measurable vendor performance/deliverable standards, appropriate vendor resource levels, proper pricing/terms.
- Ensure ongoing controlled process related to an integrated Supplier Risk Management program in line with requirements.
- Aide in driving measurable improvements on quality, price and service for existing relationships.
- Interface with appropriate functional, finance, compliance, and legal subject matter experts in the negotiation and execution of contracts (MSAs, License Agreements, Nondisclosures, SOWs, etc).
- Purchase Order Management: Convert business function requisitions and SOWs to POs. Ensure POs reflective of contracts/SOWs.
- Vendor Management
- Develop contractual and strategic relationship: Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance.
- Document Management
- Ensure proper storage of RFIs, RFPs, MSAs, SOWs, etc in accordance with policy.
- Accounts Payable
- Coordinate with Functional Owners and vendors to eliminate defects that drive payments outside of contractual terms.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with sourcing goods/services
- Full understanding of RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFP), Competitive buying, driving savings
- Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
