Sourcing Specialist Job

SENIOR SOURCING SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Walnut Creek, California.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Strategic sourcing experience
- Negotiation skills
- Vendor management skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Coordinate sourcing, management and transaction activities for the procurement of goods and services
- May lead teams in developing sourcing strategy or work with business to clearly define requirements for inclusion into the RFx process and/or the contract.
- Create and modify contracts to include terms and conditions and outlined deliverables where appropriate and clearly understands contract laws
- Directly negotiates with supplier and works closely with Legal and Sourcing Manager
- Leads and facilitates the development of the selection scoring methodology and process with multiple business units/cross-functional stakeholders
- Provides supplier management for strategic supplier relationships

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- At least five (5) years strategic sourcing experience
- Required to understand market conditions and perform market analysis that may influence the direction or strategy for the process
- Must be able to work independent on most contracts moderate in complexity.
- Proven leadership skills
