Sourcing Manager IT Managed Services, London

My clients a leading Bank based in London City seek an IT Sourcing (Managed Services) Manager 45-55k.

Working as a part of a wider, specialist Procurement function this role will influence and drive the commercial strategy for various Managed Services for the IT Category within the bank.

Working within a specialist IT Managed Services Sourcing team you will provide subject matter expertise and constantly drive target based cost management directly and through your category across a Global remit.

Key deliverables will include:

o Ensuring best practice and maximal contractual protection whilst co-ordinating sourcing savings across the group.
o Collaborating with Senior Procurement colleagues producing global Purchasing Plans and Agreement are in place
o Effective Vendor Management and negotiations
o Procurement support to all countries
o Constant identification, reporting and achievement of cost savings
o Awareness of regulatory compliance and management of Risk.
o Proactively manage the supplier lifecycle: identification of new sources, business engagement, tender, negotiation, contract management
o Provide Hardware subject matter expertise on market trends, best practise, cost consultancy

The successful candidate is likely to meet the following criteria:

o Strong IT Managed Services experience across one or more of the following:

OUTSOURCED/OFFSHORED SERVICES
IT PROFESSIONAL SERVCIES
APPLICATION SERVICES (inc. SAP, Hosting and Managed Services, Enterprise Applications Management, Business continuity, Resources on Demand)
END USER MANAGED SERVICES
NETWORK SERVICES

o Exceptional communicator and negotiator
o Strong analytical ability
o Strong working knowledge of commercial law
o Ability to lead teams
