SOURCING MANAGER - FINANCIAL SERVICES EUROPEAN MARKETS - LONDON BASED

CONTRACT 6 MONTHS

RATE: MARKET RATE

A LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES ORGANISATION WITHIN THE HEART OF THE CITY ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED SOURCING MANAGER TO COME AND BE PART OF THE EUROPEAN OPERATIONS SOURCING TEAM. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING ALL ASPECTS OF THE SOURCING AND CONTRACTING PROCESS FOR YOUR ASSIGNED GEOGRAPHICAL AREA INCLUDING AMONG OTHERS GERMANY, ITALY, POLAND, GREECE, AUSTRIA AND MAY INCLUDE INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL (UP TO 10%). THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

- Have detailed knowledge and experience of Pan-European sourcing
- Support supplier engagement process, procedures, and performance metrics at local and global level
- Support and deploy market/regional/global commodity strategies for your assigned geographical area
- Have expert knowledge and experience in the use of ARIBA Procurement Contracts and ARIBA Sourcing
- An in depth understanding of commercial contract terms
- Be Results driven with the ability to negotiate, influence, lead change and realize the necessary organization buy-in
- Have the ability to work with business stakeholders to build a pipeline of sourcing activity by identifying projects and building consensus and alignment for future sourcing activity
- Manage all activities related to supplier selection (eg RFI, RFP/RFQ. FSA, SOW, ETC)
- Produce monthly reports
- Be a multitasker with the ability to manage multiple projects and requests simultaneously.
- Provide and support Sourcing policy training
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills alongside strong strategic and analytical abilities
