Sourcing & Contracts Specialist

A large and reputable NHS organisation based in the West Midlands currently requires an Interim Resourcing & Contracts Specialist for a period of three to six months, to assist with increased workload.

Duties will include managing a large volume of contracts covering mainly clinical services, such as medical consumables and radio-pharmaceutical. You also be required to lead on various procurement tenders and awarding new contracts, in line with NHS OJEU and EU regulations and guidance.

This role will require you to liaise effectively with Clinicians as well and must have exceptional negotiation skills. This role requires a diplomatic approach and may also involve the rationalisation of suppliers.

The ideal candidate must have previous NHS experience within a similar role. In addition, you must have a strong working knowledge of leading end-to-end OJEU NHS tendering processes within Medical/Clinical categories.
