The client embraces innovation as growth engine for its leadership position in High Performance Mixed Signal markets. Its central Research & Development organisation is chartered to provide the client's businesses with breakthrough and differentiating innovations. Our sound & acoustics related activities are located in Leuven (Belgium) as part of the Innovation Centre Sensors.

To strengthen our team we are looking for:

Researcher Sound
- You perform objective (acoustic measurements) and subjective (listening tests) experiments;
- You demonstrate concepts and algorithms both internally and to external customers;
- You translate your realizations into architecture requirements for chips;
- You support the integration of your deliverables into chips;
- You actively participate in the idea creation and sound strategy processes;

Expectations:

- You hold a Master's (or equivalent) or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics or Digital Signal Processing;
- You have basic experience in Digital Signal Processing (audio processing) (1-3 years);
- You have 3-5 years of experience with Matlab prototyping;
- You are familiar with computer-aided design (electronic modelling tools, Simulink);
- You have a very strong affinity for audio/music;
- You have sound
- You are able to work together with our demanding customers, are quality minded and deliver on commitment;
- You are an excellent team player;
