SOLVENCY II CONSULTANT - ACCOUNTING AND SYSTEMS LEAD

We need a candidate who can lead and help us develop systems for the Solvency II reporting. This is a regulatory requirement and there are milestones going through to 2016. You will be there to understand the strategic vision for processes/systems, in order to design/improve operational business models and processes that fit within designed Solvency II Reporting vision

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY & DUTIES:

* Prepare the Business Requirement Document defining the agreed scope, determine project focus, gather relevant information from the relevant individuals and obtain the relevant reviews and sign offs.

* Proactively work with the Solvency II Technical Requirement and Process Lead identify internal and external dependencies and as well as lead times and lag times to calculate the shortest realistic program/project schedule

* As the Lead, act as Solvency II Finance/System functional requirements expert and work with the team to ensure that capabilities are built as per the SII requirements.

* Lead the system functional requirement implementation and effectively oversee the solvency II systems functional requirements project deliverable including, managing of the systems functional solutions team, monitoring progress and track benefits realized with the need for in-flight adjustments as required for Solvency II Reporting.

* Document and apply principles, methods and tools of cost effective quality assurance and prepare (including test scenarios) for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to be applied by the impacted finance teams to ensure the program or project fulfills its objectives.
