SUMMARY:
Write, Test, and implement HP monitoring scripts using NuGen to support application and systems monitoring project.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years proven work experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Knowledge of different programming languages (eg Cobol, JCL, Java, C, HTML, VB, Visual C++, C#, .NET)
- Prior experience with single platforms and familiarity with others eg Internet, Client Server, Windows, Linux
- Strong documentation skills
- Analytical thinker, detailed oriented, with good problem solving skills
- Organized with good time management skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage change effectively
- Team player, cooperative with good interpersonal skills

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide estimates on activities/tasks required to perform design, coding and unit testing, improving accuracy over time
- Develop code and documents programs of simple to average complexity using NuGen
- Assist in completing technical documentation and training material
- Organize and participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, programs and unit test plans
- Provide implementation and post-implementation support, as necessary
- Recommend technology solutions that satisfy sponsor/stakeholder needs continually exploring and assessing options for value-add for clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
