Solutions Architect - Retail

Currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect with proven Retail industry experience, ie ERP Supply Chain (stock/order management), web channels, POS (point of sale) etc.

Essential skills:

Proven Retail industry experience

ERP - preferably Oracle E-business SCM

Oracle SOA Suite

Stock/warehouse management, POS (point of sale)

Ability to translate business needs into solutions architecture

Ability to estimate the financial impact of EA alternatives.

Desirable Skills

Oracle 10g

SQL server

WebSphere

The successful applicant will join this business critical change programme at blue-print phase 1 stage. Working with the IT Director to define strategy, lead, maintain and govern the enterprise architecture across the organisation. Duties include:

Review and analyse current IT environment

High & low-level design of future solution

Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work.

Identify organizational requirements for the resources, structures and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise architecture.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large retail brand, leading the creation of an enterprise re-architecture of their current IT systems, joining the project at initial strategy phase.
