Solutions Architect - Infrastructure, SOA - Federal Government

Our client is a HIGH PROFILE GOVERNMENT AGENCY located in CANBERRA. The department is looking for several SOLUTIONS ARCHITECTS to provide to create and document system designs based on business and technical requirements for a variety of departmental projects.

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

- Undertake end-to-end design for major change or new policy, ensuring design solutions are sustainable, meet the business intent and utilise enterprise capabilities;
- Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise outcomes for the government, the benefit of the community, citizens and departmental and portfolio staff;
- Manage and resolve complex and unique administrative, functional, capability and design issues where there is no established pattern or framework of reference;
- Ensure design integrity is maintained across development/extension of enterprise solutions, use of solutions and throughout change processes;
- Review and extend existing patterns of use' and promote new work opportunities which leverage/reuse the department's enterprise capabilities; and
- Work with senior specialists across ICT Branches, including the Office of the Chief Information Officer, to extend/refresh the enterprise capabilities to ensure long term sustainability.

You will be required to be a key stakeholder manager and facilitate enterprise wide solution design.
