Solutions Architect - 6 Months/Extendable in Oman

Our prestigious IT client is looking for an Immediately available Solutions Architect for initial 6 months contract role to be based in Muscat, Oman.

Candidate will need to have experience in architecting complex IT environments consisting of:

Multi-site banking environment

HP EVA and 3PAR storage and SAN topology spanning main and DR site
-

VMware virtualization (4.x, 5.x)
-

HP BladeSystem Matrix
-

HP DTCS recovery tool
-

HPUX, linux and Windows Servers, Oracle databases 

Skills required:

-

Team leader with experience in driving complex IT migration projects
-

Communications and presentation skills to preset project status and decision support to IT management

Experience in projects leadership with multiple delivery and deployment teams

Ability to assess and manage technical risks within own jurisdiction

Ability to lead a multi-culture team and achieve timely results.
