Solutions Architect - .Net

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Development of the solution architecture for new systems and services or enhancements to existing systems.
- Development of the detailed design for new systems and services or enhancements to existing systems.
- Selecting suitable software packages, infrastructure assets and technologies, analysing systems and data.
- Architectural prototyping as required.
- Estimating, scheduling and planning resources for the proposed solution. Mentoring technical team and providing 'hands-on' technical leadership as required.
- 'Hands on' participation in project delivery activities as required.
- Ensure that solution development follows the Preparation of technical solutions for customer proposals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in architecting highly scalable, high availability and high throughput transaction based systems using different architectural styles such as multi-tiered architecture, service oriented architecture and event driven architecture across the full technology stack including network, server, Middleware and persistence
- Experience in documenting system architecture and detailed design to address the concerns of different stakeholders
- Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle
- Experience with a variety of security technologies and server, operating system and Middleware platforms
- Experience with a variety of storage and network devices and topologies
- Experience with software development platforms and frameworks, particularly Java
- Solid background in software development ideally using an agile based SDLC
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate within cross functional delivery teams, management and other program stakeholders
- Experience in technical mentoring and guidance to members of applications development and infrastructure teams
- Strong customer service focus
