ROLE: Solution Support Engineer - Maintenance/Support/CSV/ITIL/German/English/On-Call 24/7
LOCATION: Central Switzerland
WORKLOAD: 100%
START DATE: 01.06.2017
END DATE: until 31.12.2017 (including possibility of contract extension)
Role:
- Maintain and support solutions according to valid procedures incl. CSV guidelines in case of GxP relevant solutions.
- Evaluating alternative informatics technologies where required and researching industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Optimize business processes in the area of expertise.
- Participating in small to medium sized IT projects.
- Engineering and support for all non-standard clients on site.
- Engineering and support for the use of standard clients in manufacturing.
- Engineering and support for special printing solutions (label printing) on site.
- Engineering and support for handheld devices (barcode scanners, etc.) on site.
Requirements:
- Around 5 to 10 years of professional IT experience in big organizations/companies
- Experience managing solutions in a regulated environment and with Computer System Validation
- Ideally experience in the Life Science industry (Pharma etc.)
- Experience in leading maintenance and support activities
- ITIL knowledge (ITIL Foundation certification preferred)
- Beneficial skills: Experience in Project Management, Client Engineering, Barcode Scanning
- Strong communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours or on-call arrangements to provide support 24/7
Language(s)
- English: Very good reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
- German: Very good reading, writing, listening and speaking skills
