Solution Designer

Context
The Design Team is responsible for the solution design covering both functional and technical design of the client's projects.

You will join the Design team and participate as a Lead Solution Designer on various projects and different on different development platforms (client-server, mobile, web, ...).
In addition you will also be involved in activities around the Competence Center Design and do design and code reviews.

Responsiblities
- Writing high-quality design (functional & technical) documentation.
- Consolidation of all design aspects in one consistent e2e solution design
- Coaching and supporting teams of analysts / developers / testers in the development and integration of Java based solutions.
- Design and code reviews

Profile
At least 8 years' relevant experience :
- Experience in JAVA or .NET development

At least 3 years' relevant experience :
- In architectural/designer roles on .NET based projects
- Experience in with UML ( domain model, component diagram, sequence diagram, ..)
- Writing high-quality design documentation.

Technical Skills
Must have's
- Excellent practical knowledge of SOA
- Excellent knowledge of and experience composition of services
- Excellent knowledge of and experience creation of contract designs
- WSDL Expert
- XSD Expert
- Excellent knowledge of Enterprise Design Patterns (Service Façade, ESB, …)
- Excellent knowledge of and Excellent Knowledge of and experience with ORM en (n)Hibernate
- Analyses & Design Expert.

Nice to have's
- Knowledge of BPMN/BPEL.
- Knowledge of usability.
- Knowledge of and experience continuous integration
- Knowledge of and experience of security (OWASP, SAML , KERBEROS, ..)
- Knowledge of scalable systems (caching, state, performances, …)
- Ability to define advanced technical specifications
- Ability to pick up, understand and apply new technologies, sometimes at short notice

General Skills
- Experience of working on projects with multiple staffing models (onshore, near shore, offshore) is a plus
