Solution Architect - Zurich Switzerland - 6 month contract - £600-£700 per day!
My client is a large telecommunications company based in Zurich, they're looking for a Solution Architect to join them on a 6 month extendable contract. They are looking for someone with detailed knowledge and experience in architecture design, dealing with large complex Managed Services solutions end to end.
Role Overview:
Provides pre-sales advisory and solution consultancy support for our enterprise clients, helping them to embrace innovation and drive change, not just react to it. Working closely with core sales and other pre-sales functions, the Solution Architect is aligned and accountable to specific sales teams within the branch or dedicated to named customers. The Solution Architect can be a subject matter expert in a specific ICT tower but must also have the ability to work more broadly as an end to end solution owner covering multiple technical domains.

Technology areas required:
- Lead architect experience in Network Design, MPLS based WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN, Acceleration, QoS/CoS, routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, RIP) and switching (VLAN trunking, Ethernet) with focus on resiliency, availability, and latency
- Highly developed interpersonal and Client facing presentation skills
- Cisco Associate Certifications: CCNA/CCDA/CCNP/CCDP (Data Centre, Security, Service Provider, Operations, Voice, Video, Wireless)
- Other relevant technology certifications in Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, Siemens, Polycom, Riverbed, Juniper, Vmware, Oracle etc
