Solution Architect/Solution Delivery

Solution Architect required for immediate start on a project in Amsterdam

The Project
To lead the solution architecture and technical delivery for the in house banking system programme.

The programme will deliver an In-House Bank function, owned by the corporate Treasury & Finance departments, which will perform the functions of a bank on behalf of the Operating Companies.
the system Introduces a centralised banking capability ensuring that cash is managed as a corporate resource, bringing cash centrally for greater liquidity, enabling centralised loans and funding and having standardised payment processing across the group.

Specifically within the IT implementation model, this role will manage overall application design, delivery, test, data, infrastructure, integration with local systems, deployment and transition to Support and Operations

Duties:
Key activities will include:
*Managing end to end implementation (from analysis to deployment) of the central solution and work closely with local markets to synchronise with the overall plan the local systems changes required to integrate with the central solution.
*Coordinate IT design activities of each of the local operating subsidiaries to ensure implementation of a consistent solution/architecture which facilitates further shared service penetration
*Oversee key vendors and internal delivery teams in the design and delivery or required solutions.
*Partnering with Systems Integrators and local IT teams to ensure efficient design of technologies implemented at large scale
*Managing Solution Scope & Design and Long term application roadmap
*Providing sourcing recommendations for software components and systems integration work
*Advising Programme Lead and central project team on matters relating to IT systems and design
*Working with established team to define and deliver Support & Operations Set up.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
*Expertise and experience with system integration covering all key aspects of IT (Application, Data, Test, Infrastructure, Deployment, Operations) across treasury, banking, finance and ERP systems.
*Proven ability to implement large scale, complex system solutions for multi-functional, multi-national organizations
*Ability to manage an international, multi-cultural and distributed team with complex reporting lines

Must have technical/professional qualifications:
*Degree or equivalent in a computer science or a scientific/technical discipline
*Experience and expertise in delivering projects with integration of treasury, banking, finance and ERP systems.
*5+ years' experience in delivering Projects in an international environment
