Solution Architect/Senior Java Solution Engineer

Our client, an international bank in Canton Ticino, is seeking a JAVA SOLUTION ARCHITECT/SENIOR SOLUTION ENGINEER to join their LAM team for a period of at least 6 months.

The JAVA SOLUTION ARCHITECT/SENIOR SOLUTION ENGINEER will be responsible for:

- Provide Java Solution architect and senior solution engineer functions
- Take full responsibility for the production and maintenance of the Software Architecture Document
- Analyse functional and non-functional requirements in order to design a suitable application architecture
- Support requirements engineers to design domain object model
- Assist other solution engineers in the implementation of the business logic requirements in JavaEE

The ideal JAVA SOLUTION ARCHITECT/SENIOR SOLUTION ENGINEER will have the following skills and experience:

- Minimum of 8 years working in an IT solution development area
- 4 years working as a Solution Architect
- Good knowledge of Java/JavaEE development platforms and associated frameworks/platforms (EJB 3, JPA 2, JSF, Facelets, JMS)
- Advanced UML knowledge and related tools
- In depth knowledge of Eclipse, Subversion
- Oracle 11g, PL/SQL Developer and WebLogic server 9.x/10.x
- Please note the role is in an English speaking environment however German and Italian would be an advantage
