Solution Architect - Mining Systems (Q7)

Our customer, a leading Consulting Organisation with a focus on the Resources Sector has an immediate need for an experienced SOLUTION ARCHITECT with a background in MINING SYSTEMS such as CONTROL SYSTEMS AND FLEET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS for Production and Output. 

It is expected this position will be on a 12 month contract basis.

THE SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES OUR CLIENT IS SEEKING INCLUDE:

- The person we seek will have a strong  understanding of how to identify internal and external customer needs.
- Ability to perform system and network modelling, analysis and planning to implement a solution that will meet business needs within financial budget guidelines.
- Ability to present and translate the design to customers to ensure the design will meet the customers' requirements.
- A strong background in Application based Solution Architecture.
- Ideally a strong understanding of Mining Control Systems, Fleet Management Systems related to Production and Output.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust, gain confidence, and effectively interact with a diversity of stakeholders across the business.
- A Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, or Engineering highly desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication.
