Solution Architect - Desktop Management

Due to an ongoing project, our client is looking for a Solution Architect to work on European bids. The Solution Architect will be focussing on the design of the Desktop Management function. The Desktop Management Solution Architect will be responsible for the service design, desktop management and build management design.

The successful candidate will need to be based in Brussels for the duration of the contract. The initial period (2 - 4 weeks) will be for 2 days a week. The contract will then move to full time after this initial period.

Desktop Management Solution Architect key skills:

- Service design
- Costing of services
- Knowledge of Desktop Management and Build Management. This will involve creating builds for desktops, desktop virtualisation and remote management of desktops.
- Knowledge of Local System Admin activities including AD/LDAP and account management
- Knowledge of Lifecycle Asset Management and Logistics. This will include procurement and warranty, logistics and asset management, tagging and tracking
- Knowledge of providing Application Support (supporting a large number of COTS applications, bespoke and specialised applications)
- Experience of working on bids, leading a work-stream and writing bids
- Information/workshops for Lifecycle Asset Management & Logistics and Application Support
