Solution Architect

For an Air Traffic Management client, Eurocity is looking for new consultants for SOLUTION ARCHITECT positions (Junior, Senior, Expert) for a minimum of 2 years as our client has a preference for candidates interested in long term contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in architecture of large Real Time mission critical systems
- Experience in Architecture process and tools
- Experience with safety critical systems and high availability systems
- Experience with UML and related modelling tools such as Rational Rose or Enterprise Architect
- Unix or Linux, including knowledge of a Scripting language such as Perl, Bash, Korn-Shell
- Knowledge of Datamodelling, Object Oriented methodology, SOA, design patterns
- Data architecture, Datamodelling, DB tools, DB design (Oracle, SQL), storage, backup
- Middleware and integration tools (ESB, EAI, Web services,)
- Web technologies like web Servers, application Servers (Weblogic),collaboration tools, content management systems, web services
- Knowledge of Digitalization of services, Micro services design,
- Experience with software development projects as developer or architect
- Ability to document technical solutions from different perspectives (users, developers, support, deployment, security)
- Ability to work on complex systems
- NM business knowledge
- Ability to work independently
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with the project stakeholders (users, architects, developers, testers, support teams,)
- Being able to present and justify technical solutions
- Very good algorithmic thinking skills
- Ability to work on complex systems
- Ability to absorb large amounts of complex information (being able to work on and maintain a huge code base)
- Managerial skills (resource management, staff motivation, coordination and planning)
