Solution Architect

Set top Box Software Architect required for a contract starting in March/April

Main Responsibilities:-
Liaising with internal stakeholders to capture functional, architectural, network and end-to-end requirements and incorporating them in technical requirements.

Reviewing and approving technical specification from vendors.
Extensive cooperation and management of external technology suppliers during development of STB software (STB vendors, Middleware vendors, CA vendors).

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Master degree in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent acquired from other education and experience.

5+ years of experience from working with Embedded SW development and architecture (Linux) for customer premises DVB and IP video equipment.

5+ years of experience from working with requirements and specifications in a structured way.

Experience from vendor management working with SW suppliers.

Good understanding of web technologies. - Good understanding of Conditional Access and DRM.
