Solution Architect

Do you belong to a family of high calibre Solution Architects with over 8 years of experience? Do you have a sound track record handling large/complex IT projects? If so, we may have the right opportunity for you within one our clients based at The Hague, in the Netherlands. Our client is a large European Institution in the legal sector.

Duration of contract: 4 weeks (possible extension).

Mission overview:
- Within a large multi-annual IT transformation programme, you will lead the architecture team and actively support the customer through its transformation journey.
- As such, you will be in charge of defining the architectural standards and overall requirements applicable to the whole systems integration and software development. You will also monitor the compliance with those standards and requirements by all parties providing contributions to the systems in scope.

Task:
- Contribute to the overall Solution Architecture strategy, in close cooperation with the customer's architecture team. You will participate in the elaboration of the long-term roadmap planning.
- Be the lead agent of change around systems integration best practices, methods and standards.
- Participate to the Architecture Board jointly with the customer.
- Provide guidance to projects regarding the overall Enterprise level architecture.
- Provide guidance to the architects in definition, design of work package solutions.
- Be part of the Design Authority, and validate project designs to ensure they meet with the overall architecture principles.
- Be involved in high level service strategy and design.
- Be involved in the Requirements Management and Testing strategies.
- Interact with stakeholders from IT, business and supplier, including CxO levels.

Required Technical Skills:
- You are Computer Science (or related domain) High School graduate.
- You have at least 8 years of successful experience in large/complex IT projects. You have a proven experience in an Enterprise Architect position.
- You have a TOGAF certification (or equivalent).
- You have a fluent level in written and spoken English.
- You are open-minded and have excellent communication skills. Team spirit is a strong requirement.
