The Project:
A leading and cutting edge engineering company in Cheltenham, have an immediate requirement for Design Engineer to re-design existing products for an initial 6 Month Project.
Your role will be to design and 3D model existing drawings and new modifications for an interesting product line.
You should be familiar 3D Modelling in Solidworks and must have experience in the Sheet metal and Geometric Tolerance.
This is an opportunity to join a small R&D team, who work on some really meaty and exciting projects. One of the great selling points of this company is that you can really see your input being made to a project development.
SKILLS:
- 3D Modelling
- 2D Detailed drafting of components
- Basic supporting calculations for design
- SOLIDWORKS
- CAD
- Sheet Metal
- Creating drawings to BS8888
Rate: £20-£23 per hour
Duration: 6 months
